As a result of Mayor and Council’s vision and strategic direction and the leadership and guidance of the Senior Executive Team, we are excited to launch a new brand that depicts the innovative, forward-thinking City we have grown to be.
Team Henderson, this is a celebration of your work, dedication and resilience. Now that the new logo has been unveiled to Team Henderson, WHAT’S NEXT?
We are proud of our City’s history, which is why it will have a distinct place in our future.
The current City logo will be transitioned into a City Seal. In fact, you will still see the Seal in many applications, even as we move forward into the rebrand.
The Seal will remain on our monument signage, park benches, street signs, and any other durable fixtures with an expected lifespan of 10+ years.
Moving forward, the new City logo will be used on:
We have the infrastructure in place to replace many of these items through the process of attrition, which will allow us to achieve a Citywide rebrand, while remaining fiscally responsible.
This rebrand is a Citywide initiative and applies to ALL departments and divisions, with the exception of Police and Fire.
No. You should not replace your City badge. The City Seal will continue to be displayed on City badges, including badges created for new hires.
No action is needed from you at this time. Your supervisor will notify you when your equipment and/or vehicle is scheduled for logo placement.
The City Shop will coordinate the scheduling of logo placement on City vehicles, including Police vehicles:
EXISTING vehicles that currently have a City Seal, will be rebranded by simply covering the Seal with a sticker containing the new City Logo.
NEW vehicles on order and arriving after April 4, 2022 should be branded with the new City logo and monogram.
EXISTING equipment such as trailers and mowers will receive a new City logo sticker.
NEW equipment will be branded with the new City logo.
Yes, absolutely. New uniforms and apparel purchased after April 4, 2022 should feature the new City of Henderson logo. Official rollout of new uniforms will vary by each department.
If you typically receive a new City Seal patch each year, you will now receive a City Logo patch instead. Once you receive the patch of the new logo, apply them to your uniform shirts, as you have done in the past.
The goal is to phase out all City Seal uniform apparel by the end of 2022.
Please contact your direct supervisor if you have additional questions.
No. Please use your existing inventory until it has been depleted. We ask that you work with your Marketing/Communications Business Partner to rebrand these items when you are ready to re-order. The Office of Communications will determine whether the document should contain the Seal or the Logo and will design the document accordingly for your use.
Prior to the rebrand rollout, the Office of Communications has been working in collaboration with each department to identify assets that require the updating of logos and to establish a priority list.
Please reach out to your Marketing/Communications Business Partner for more information on your department’s implementation timeline.
No. The City Seal may only be used in certain applications. In most instances, the new Logo must be used.
